Research Interests:

My overall research interest is the study of post-transcriptional gene regulation and its implications for human diseases and cellular differentiation. Specifically, I am interested in developing and applying computational tools towards studying the function of microRNAs and other small regulatory RNAs in stem cells, cancer and neurobiology. My work is focused on algorithmic development and data analysis from high-throughput data to enable new discoveries with possible implications for diagnostic and stem cell-based treatment.

Epigenomic Core:

I am the computational co-director of the Weill Cornell Epigenomic Core where I am leading a team of scientists and software developers towards developing computational infrastructure and algorithms specific to the core activities.
