The Institute for Computational Biomedicine (ICB) of Weill Cornell Medical College (WCMC), the David Z.
Rosensweig Genomics Research Center of the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), and the Biological Sciences
Department of the New York City College of Technology (CityTech) at City University of New York (CUNY),
organize the 4th Epigenomics Data Analysis Workshop in April 2015.
The workshop aims to introduce participants to the most recent tools and techniques in this area, focusing on
problems commonly encountered during epigenomics data analysis. The workshop will also cover some of the
fundamental aspects and technologies of next-generation sequencing, such as:
* Short reads alignment and gene expression analysis (RNA-seq) * Genome-wide binding assays (ChIP-seq) * DNA
methylation (RRB-sequencing) * Tutorial on MetaR * Data integration and visualization
Hands-on practical exercises will be emphasized, in order to teach the participants how to perform basic
computational analysis by themselves.
