[ description ]

Pseudoknots (or RNAfold_knots) is an extension of the Zuker MFOLD algorithm to optimize the minimum energy prediction of pseudoknotted RNA structures. It can also include coaxial energy information.

[ about the method ]

"A dynamic programming algorithm for RNA structure prediction including pseudoknots." E. Rivas and S.R. Eddy. J. Mol Biol., (285) 2053-2068, 5 February 1999. [PubMed]

[ documentation ]

Version 1.01 is currently installed in our system. The following tutorial gives an example of how to predict the secondary structure of an RNA molecule.
