If you are connecting from a Windows PC, we recommend that you use Hummingbird’s Exceed application to make your connections. In addition to the Exceed program, you will also need an add-on Security Pack. There are other (less expensive) programs that can be used to connect to our systems (one popular free one is putty) and you are welcome to use them if you prefer them to Exceed; however, support for them will be much more limited than for Exceed.
