CRT home > XML Submission Details

Submissions to SigPath in XML format need to adhere to the SigPath Submission XML Schema. We maintain detailed XML schema documentation. This documentation describes the hierarchy of XML tags available for creating submissions. The schema evolves frequently, you can access the latest version here.

The following XML submission file examples are in accordance with the required SigPath XML Submission Schema and can be used as guides for creating your XML submissions.

Examples:

example submission for a complex Notes

example submission for a basic reaction

example submission for an enzymatic reaction Notes

example submission for a model

To use example files as templates for your submissions:

  1. From the "File" dropdown menu in the Internet Explorer or Netscape menubar, click the "Save As" link.

  2. A window will pop up allowing you to browse and select the folder in your computer where you may save the file.

  3. After you have selected a location in which to save the file, go to the "Save as type" drop down menu and select the "XML files (*.xml)" option

  4. Now you may give the file an appropriate "File name" in the provided space and click "Save".

You can also export SigPath entities such as models or reactions as XML to use them as templates for your submissions by clicking on the View XML link on the upper right hand . The following tutorial illustrates this feature:
