CRT home > RbDe Web Service Tutorial: Importing a sequence

Once you have logged into RbDe you will be redirected to the "Import Sequence" page. This page can also be reached from any other page in RbDe by clicking the "Sequence Input" button in the menu bar on top of the page.

  1. Sequences can be imported using a SwissProt accession number or sequence identifier. To do this simply input the SwissProt accession number or sequence identifier in the form provided and click the "Submit" button.


  2. To import the sequence from a text file, type in a sequence or paste it from another application. Select the format of the file you are pasting in the text area and click "Submit sequence ..."



  3. This will take you to the "Sequence Display" page where you can visualize your sequence.
