PDZBase can be queried for interactions through names and identifiers of external databases (e.g. Swiss-Prot).

Additionally, proteins in the database can be retrieved by criteria such as incorporation of a specific sequence motif (i.e G-L-G for PDZ-domains, or S-X-V for ligands), or a specific residue type at a certain position (PDZ-domains with a His at position aB1, the first residue of the second alpha-helix).

All interactions involving the chosen subset of proteins can then be retrieved.

Jan, 2009; Twease now supports searching MEDLINE articles by Author, Journal, and Publication Year. Examples for performing these searches can be found in the updated Twease tutorial. [More]
